The Pool of Siloam: a place of cleansing, a place of entrance, a place of gathering, a place of reflection and self-discovery, a place of miracles.  The story of the man blind from birth is the story of each one of us. It is a story of faith and rebirth, a story to touch the hearts of many.

When I started this blog six years ago, I was in a very different place. My mom lived with us, I wasn't working except for watching my grandchildren and I had many stories to tell about my life in ministry. Since that time my daughter married, Mom died, I have been gifted with five more grandchildren, and I'm back to work part-time. Through all this, my journey of faith has deepened and I am more in love with God than ever before. I hope you'll join me for a quiet moment at the waters of life.

A Rose-Colored Sunday

Gaudete Sunday. Rejoice! The time of waiting was nearly over, with Christmas only ten days away. Except he wasn’t rejoicing; in fact, he was standing by the piano screaming. In Their Honor

Since my Father’s committal service  at Fort Logan National Cemetery nearly 10 years ago, I have heard this tribute many times for family, friends, strangers.  First it is the unfolding, folding and presentation of…

Where is God?

Everything held promise. A beautiful Church wedding followed by a fun-filled reception. Husband and wife prepared to meet the world with love and excitement. It was all going according to plan. The loving couple blessed with three children. School days and holidays and summer days spent growing together, laughing, arguing, embracing. And then, as happens…
